Short version: Your recordings, transcripts, questions, and settings stay on your device. We have no servers, no accounts, no ads, and no analytics or tracking. We do not collect, sell, or share your personal data.
Take Cue (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is an interview-practice app that lets you record, review, and re-take answers to your own interview questions. This policy explains exactly what happens to your information.
Everything you create in Take Cue is saved locally on your device and is not transmitted to us:
We do not have access to any of this. Deleting the app removes this data from your device.
The app uses your camera and microphone solely to record your practice answers on the device. Recordings are saved locally for you to review and are never uploaded to us.
If you use the transcription feature, Take Cue uses Apple’s Speech Recognition to convert your recorded answer into text. Depending on your device and language, Apple may process the audio on-device or send it to Apple’s servers to perform the recognition. This processing is performed by Apple and is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy. Take Cue does not receive or store this audio on any server of ours; the resulting transcript is saved only on your device.
If you choose to export a recording, the app saves the video to your Photo Library. The app only adds the items you export; it does not read or access your existing photos.
If you enable practice reminders, the app schedules local notifications on your device using a countdown to your interview date. These reminders are generated entirely on-device; no reminder data is sent anywhere.
Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit. We never see or receive your payment details. We only receive an anonymous indication from Apple of whether your Pro subscription is currently active, in order to unlock Pro features.
Take Cue does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. The app is rated 4+ and stores all content locally on the device.
You can delete individual recordings and interviews inside the app at any time, and deleting the app removes all associated data from your device.
If we change this policy, we will update the “Effective date” above and post the new version at this URL.

若你开启练习提醒，应用会在本机按面试倒计时安排本地通知。提醒完全在本机生成，不向任何地方发送。
订阅由 Apple 通过 App Store（StoreKit）处理。我们看不到、也不接收你的支付信息，仅从 Apple 处获得「Pro 订阅当前是否有效」这一匿名状态用于解锁功能。
不运营存储你内容的服务器；不使用账号或登录；无广告；不使用分析、崩溃上报或第三方追踪 SDK；不跨应用/网站追踪你；不向任何人出售或分享你的数据。
本应用不会故意收集任何人（含儿童）的个人信息，分级为 4+，所有内容均存于设备本机。
你可随时在应用内删除单条录像与面试；删除应用即清除设备上所有相关数据。
如有变更，我们会更新上方「生效日期」并在本网址发布新版本。
